How is 3D graphics fixed?
Good day to all. Tell me if it is possible to find out how the render is programmed, how the system for storing and processing 3D models is presented. What accelerations gives this or that aspect of the hardware. (That is, what is done and how it is processed, as well as what is done in the processor or video card). How shaders work. How smooth shading works. How is perspective created? How does all this three-dimensional beauty translate into a regular 2D bitmap? That is the very essence of modern three-dimensional graphics. Or is it all not found in the printed / article version on the Internet? Is there a chance to figure it out by opening the code of some open source project? (It seems that now you can even look into the Unreal Engine sources) And yet, tell me where is it generally better to ask such questions? Is there a VK group on this topic?
