How to transfer complex 3d object from Autodesk Maya to Maxon Cinema 4d?
Hello
Recently I wanted to learn 3d. In order to have a resume for finding a job, the junior decided to immediately study at complex objects.
First, I watched a course on Cinema 4d (a very simple and understandable program that was praised in the comparison articles on Habré) and Maxwell render. But there were almost no vacancies for her. It turned out that the Maya standard. I looked at her basic course and began to make a car.
I'm almost done here. Soon we need to apply materials, set the light and render in Maxwell. In May, this is difficult and inconvenient to do. I want to transfer everything to Cinema 4d. There is convenient work with Maxwell, materials + convenient Selection tags.
But how to do that?
There are a lot of objects (small bolts, etc.). So far, everything is in rough polygons without smoothing and splitting (via the "3" key).

P.S. I found render.ru from 3d forums, but they never answered my questions there.

But there were almost no vacancies for her. It turned out that the Maya standard.(oh, don’t pi.dite) don’t invent - the cinema has already captured 80-90% of the production due to the connection with the after effects. import-export to standard formats such as fbx, etc. supports, and they support both animation and "skeleton".
