How to adjust the scale so that 1 "Generic units" corresponds to 1cm on A4 300dpi sheet?

There is a 3d model, rendered in jpeg size A4 300dpi (which would then be printed).
Until I understand how to adjust the scale so that one standard unit of measurement of the model ("Generic units") corresponds to one real centimeter on a sheet of paper.
