How do you invert a mask in Photoshop?
There are people, there is a background. Having selected people, I created a mask. There were a number of manipulations, then I copied the first mask onto a new layer using alt and dragging. I only need to correct the background with camera raw. But on the panel of this layer with a mask, when choosing a photo, I edit what is in the mask (that is, people), and when choosing a mask, in camera raw I see black and white silhouettes. How to be? Create a new mask for the background?

Is it possible to add a screen with layers?
I suppose yes, copy and invert the mask (ctrl + I) and separately adjust the background.
