How do I know if my motherboard supports Haswell Refresh processors?
There is an i7-4790, you need to buy a motherboard for it, but they write on the Internet that some boards require a BIOS update to support Haswell Refresh. I stumbled upon it by chance, started to google and it turned out that this is far from an isolated case.
I, having bought a board with a non-updated BIOS, will not be able to update it, because the computer will not start corny - a vicious circle.
And I want to ask: are there any specific lists of motherboard models that support Haswell Refresh out of the box?
And in general, how to choose the right board for this processor? consultants in stores, of course, are not competent, they have "once 1150 socket is written, then everything will start."
Here is the motherboard , which was originally supposed to be purchased.
