7 years ago I was the same student and dreamed of freelancing, I had other reasons and excuses, I was afraid of responsibility and lack of experience, it’s just that over time these fears are gone, success will come to you, you just have to repeat the actions of other successful freelancers.
I’ll step aside a little to tell you that there were a lot of obstacles in my life, I played dota 2 and world of taks, it happened for months, but when I felt that I was only playing, not improving, I deleted the game. Dota 2 has undergone about a dozen such installations / removals, wot - only 3.
I worked in only two offices as a java and c ++ programmer, I grew up very quickly, unlike the colleagues I worked with, for one simple reason, when colleagues went to the bar one evening, I went home to the computer and made my own small games and applications for android, after months of hard work, my confidence grew and I just moved on.
I've been freelancing since last summer, quite successfully, read my posts, I'm not bragging, I just answer more openly and do not hide my income, I want to convey to people that freelancing is not difficult, all the restrictions are in your head, I keep a motivating blog , so far only about freelancing, I have a couple of dozen small topics that I want to cover. I write about what I just lacked to start. You will hardly meet guys who want to share their experience and secrets, for example, I read Puma Thailand many times , thank you very much for the articles.
Good luck!

I'll tell you from my experience.
Remember, freelancing is not the place to learn . Do not go there, because otherwise you will most likely have to dump (and anger everyone else), or solve penny problems for reviews, gradually learning. It’s better to get a job at least in some web studio as a junior and work for experience, freelancing you still get less.
If you can't, then at least spend a few months studying to build up some kind of portfolio and not write absolutely shitty code.

There are far from 100,500 cool ones.
Even a normal middle peasant, who doesn’t really mess up, needs to be looked for.
The number of performers is growing, but there are more and more customers.
The algorithm is simple: you do your job normally > you get new orders.

I join dmink - there is practically no one to choose performers from. Or these are some kind of muddy studios, with poor works in the portfolio, unrealistic prices and template answers. Or generally incomprehensible personalities, who then only answer you in a day. A huge number of people simply do not have the declared qualifications in terms of portfolios and answers to simple questions.
The closest example - gave a clear task with a description of the desired result and an example of how it should work and how it should not. More than 150 performers responded. The real choice was between three.

The problem is that there are a million tasks and only a hundred thousand specialists, so we are waiting for you. And I know almost all of my competitors personally.

Learn to do something, these 100500 types should not repel you in any way, professionals in their field are needed everywhere and everywhere
