How can I make sure that the font and size do not change when pasting text on a Mac in the Pages editor?

I copy text to paste into a text document in Mac's Pages editor, but the text is pasted each time in a different font and size, depending on where I'm copying from. I need that when inserting text, the font and size do not change, i.e. always the default was the same. I hope I explained it clearly :)

The PopClip application has an "Insert=" extension to insert text with the same formatting as the insertion point. The app itself is very useful. Price $10, well deserved.

Regardless of the platform - CTRL(command) + Shift + v
inserts blank text.
