Should you upgrade to macOS Sierra?

Does anyone have experience upgrading to Sierra on imac 27" 5K, core i5, 3.2 Ghz, 8gb Ram? Better/worse than El Capitan?

Of course it's better, but what exactly are you afraid of?

I have such a configuration, I installed Sierra, I didn’t get anything new, but Karabiner stopped working, I’m still suffering, since there is still no normal alternative. Honestly, I do not see the urgent need to update.
Otherwise, no better and no worse, everything is the same (I don’t use Sirri).

Everything is very individual.
In my case (MBP Late 2012, two external monitors, I practically don’t use my native ones), after an update or a clean installation of the Sierra, the beech heats up much more strongly than on the captain. 75 at rest against 55.
PS No, this is not mdworker, there is nothing at all in htop that would alert, it heats up all the time, that is, a week after installation. So I'm still on the captain.

MBP 2015, upgraded to Sierra.
- PHPStorm sometimes crashes with JVM errors
- Sometimes Chrome/Telegram freezes
The rest - I didn't notice any innovations..)
