Help me choose an SSD
In SSD and speed indicators, I am a complete 0, but I want to buy some model tomorrow within 60-90GB for reasonable money.
I would like to know what reading speed is considered normal?
Let 's say I looked after
64 Gb SATA 6Gb/s Kingston SSDNow V200 Series <SV200S37A/64G>
90 Gb SATA 6Gb/s OCZ Agility 3 <AGT3-25SAT3-90G>
60 Gb SATA 6Gb/s OCZ Agility 3 <AGT3-25SAT3-60G>
60 Gb SATA 6Gb/s OCZ Vertex 3 <VTX3-25SAT3-60G>
60 Gb SATA 6Gb/s Corsair Force Series 3 <CSSD-F60GB3A-BK>
Which of these is best value for money?

Crucial M4. Of course, 128GB is better (including in terms of speed), but if 64 is enough ... However, I want to note that 80GB Intel has barely been enough for me lately.
Personally, the second year of using Intel ssd does not cause any emotions for me, so I completely forgot about it. True, I changed zh2 to zh3 for some reason. At the same time, over these almost a year and a half, I have read a lot of horror stories about OZZ and have seen enough that I don’t know who buys them at all.
From life: Agility3 broke down in a chela - they changed it for a month, for the same one. And what do you think? Correctly. Broke. They are still changing.
Therefore, do as you see fit, but I would advise buying either Intel or Crucial.
Take a look at this thread . Lots of useful information to think about. I chose SSD, settled on OCZ Vertex 3.
OCZ, Kingston turned out to be pretty slow. Haven't tried Corsiar. In general, look at IOPS
OCZ Vertex 3 or Corsair Force Series 3. If my memory serves me, they are on the same controller.
All SSDs, except Kingston, are on the SF2281 controller. The controller is fast, excellent, but it has a glitch - friezes. Those. work, then freeze the system for 5-10 seconds and then everything is ok. And this can happen again. It seems to be treated with firmware, but I treated my Agility 3, treated it. And after 5 months I changed this pandemonium to Intel 510.
Kingston is built on a controller from JMicron. It's a little slower, but we're recalling the V100/V100+ to die hard, so the credibility of Kingston has been undermined.
As written above, it is better to look in the direction of the M4 - it is a little more expensive, but more reliable.
60 Gb SATA 6Gb/s OCZ Agility 3 <AGT3-25SAT3-60G>
Month. The flight is excellent. Yes, and the price does not bite.
Everything is acceptable, but since SSDs sometimes tend to die suddenly, it’s better to take the one that gives the longest warranty and the seller is reliable.
And "write speed" is an abstract concept, what kind of recording - sequential, random, large blocks or small ones? You don’t say anything about tasks ...
If “in general terms for office tasks” - then by and large you will not see the difference between all these disks, from the proposed ones I would take 90GB Agility3 - SSD has such an informal rule, the higher the capacity, the faster , and then there's the extra 30GB, again, it will wear out more slowly :)
