How to put Windows 10 and Linux on SSD + HDD?
Hello to all forum members!
Guys, please help me with one question.
There is a laptop Lenovo Legion Y540, in which SSD (120 GB) and HDD (1 TB) are preinstalled. Windows is initially based on the SSD, and the HDD is used as storage.
The crux of the matter is that I would like to leave the SSD running Windows, and roll Linux on the HDD. And one more thing, where to put Grub ?!

1. turn off the ssd in the bios, put it on the hdd linux, turn it back on.
choose a prize for loading on f8 from whom to load, then fish separately and cutlets separately.
2. delete Windows altogether, this is the only normal way to learn Linux.
3. virtual machine + linux
If it's still relevant:
1. You are loaded from the Live image of tench.
2. You collect smart Gentoo on HDD.
3. You write GRUB to a USB flash drive, you also write /boot to it with the kernel and bootloader config (you can put the keys there if you encrypt partitions).
4. In the GRUB config, at one point you give control to the 10s bootloader on the SSD, and at the other you load the kernel from the same flash drive, mounting the system from the HDD.
As a result:
1. Without a flash drive, you automatically load 10 (in case of an unfortunate or not very loss).
2. With a flash drive you get to the system boot selection menu (you can also keep a Live image on it).
