Xubuntu detects the connected microphone as headphones, how to fix it?

I connect a microphone to the laptop via a mini jack, but it does not work and the voice is recorded by the laptop's built-in microphone. In Linux, not a specialist, but, as I understand it, the connected microphone, the system defines as headphones. Why I made such a conclusion - if you look in the "PulseAudio volume control" I noticed that in the "Input devices" section you can choose from two options - "built-in microphone" and "microphone (unplugged)", and in the "Input devices" section options " Loudspeakers" and "Analog Headphones (unplugged)". So, when I plug in a microphone, the "Analog headphones" mark changes to "plugged in", and for good, this should happen with the "microphone" option.

You can try playing around with device profiles on the "Configuration" tab. The profile determines which of the connectors is responsible for the input, and which - for the output.
