Frozen profile on Upwork. How to be?
Hello! My profile is 2 years old, but I haven't used it actively. About 9 months ago I sent 10-15 responses to projects, but the project did not receive. As a result, my profile was banned. I have a completed portfolio, passed tests. Why did they do so? I didn't deceive anyone. Here is the text:
We are contacting you to let you know we have suspended your access to Upwork indefinitely.
Our decision is based on a careful review and the fact that you have submitted a high number of proposals for jobs on our site without many contracts or earnings. Unfortunately, this means the jobs posted by clients are not a good match for your skills.
I know this news is likely disappointing to you. But our goal at Upwork is to enable freelancers to successfully connect and collaborate with clients who need their skills and expertise. Unfortunately, this means we must part ways with freelancers whose skills are not in demand in our marketplace.
If you want to appeal this decision, you can email us at [email protected] Please note each case will be manually reviewed by our Trust & Safety team to decide if your account can be reinstated.
Please know we don't make decisions like these lightly and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
Regards,
Upwork Trust & Safety

I was also sent today that due to inactivity they are transferring to private, and then deleted, and I have a fresh account
those. Did you send applications these 9 months ago, and blocked only now or what?
This is a filter that is not being warned about. If all (or just a lot) of the connections are used up and the project is not received, then the iron block is almost. Do not block those who are in the agency.
You can unlock it only if you write that you are an experienced specialist and add a scan of the diploma. At least it helped a lot (see the Upwork group in VK). Other options are unknown. Appeal here [email protected]
Apparently you beaded pointlessly
unbanned, you can
do it so don't

Solved this issue the other day.
I decided elementarily - by writing to those Upwork support. Like, my account is hidden from customers, I really need it, blah blah blah, I'm not a bot, tra-ta-ta. Unlocked within an hour.
I received a similar letter, with the same wording that I submitted many applications, although there were five of them in the last month, and even less in January. Since I’m not a programmer, it’s a problem to find something related to my field (I didn’t receive a single task, most of them were just abandoned, it seems).
Sent them an email with certificates and got a standard response that we have carefully reviewed, but the account will be blocked...
