bitbucket, app.asana.com + google.drive.
Instead of an asana, you can probably use a trello or something else.
Is that all you need to organize work with a freelancer or freelancers?
I think
1. The server where the application will be deployed and tested
2. The service for setting the task (TOR, terms, necessary materials for development)
3. The place where the files will be stored.
the last 2 requirements are solved with asana and google drive.
I'm testing the api using google drive. (I write parsing parameters for the test, generate queries, make queries, and write down the answers in a table, color by statuses in different colors, make reports)
I also keep a development journal in asana (this is my TK) Here I write everything that needs to be remembered and someone can apply it at the right time.

I can recommend Worksection as I use it myself.
It contains tasks and subtasks with deadlines, with a priority for each task, tags and statuses.
User management allows you to create hidden tasks and restrict access to certain tasks to other participants, and + file sharing, viewing / editing documents directly in the system (no need to download, edit and upload back, you can do everything online).
Try it, you should like it.

Used by:
Mantis (ok, "classic")
Redmine (also a classic, I don't like it at all)
Quisc (minimalism, just for doing tasks - not bad)
You can hardly find it directly from the Wiki, it's better to have it separately on the classic wiki engine.
