Free software for IP cameras (server + client)

Considered the Ivideon option - a buggy thing. If the Internet fell - that's it, the recording stopped tightly. The connection is restored in a couple of minutes, but the server is no longer writing. You have to manually stop the server and turn it on again. By the way, the developers were notified about this, but the answer was simple - write to the cloud and there will be no problems.
Looking for some other options..

There is an opensource zoneminder program for Linux-a.
If for Windows, then it's more difficult. There is free software from camera manufacturers like AXIS or Arecont Vision.
And some serious software manufacturers offer part of the channels for free. ITV, Milestone, Kodos.
