live streaming to the site from a webcam via ffserver

Hey Habr!
Need help.

It is necessary to organize an online broadcast from the webcam to the site via a remote server.

There is a client machine with Windows and a webcam. There is a server under debian with ffserver raised there. There is a site with flash player.

A bunch of server - flash player works great. I check this by running ffmpeg on the server: reads local video, converts and sends to some locally located file, which is already read by ffserver. The video is displayed on the site.

But I can't figure out how to send the stream from the webcam on the client to the server.

In general, the goal is the following.
A certain reporter will shoot a video with his camera, which users should see on the site in real time. The need for a server in the middle is due to the fact that the reporter has a laptop and a rather poor channel, and there are quite a lot of users.

Googled - nothing suitable is googled.
Thank you in advance!

The problem is that it is needed, firstly, yesterday, and secondly, almost for free :)
We asked enthusiasts to help. I made the server part, but there is a problem with the client ...
All the solutions that I found are geared towards broadcasting from the same machine to which the camera is connected ...

A similar problem was discussed quite recently here on Habré . Perhaps you can extract from this discussion a solution for your problem.
