Flashing Bios from e8400 to xeon e5450?
Hello. I will put on the Asus p5ql pro processor with Ali e5450, for the first time. Throw off the site where everything is described step by step from the very beginning, from the moment of installation into the socket, BIOS firmware to setup and start. Or you can write here. 2 more questions: 1: How to write a BIOS without jambs to a USB flash drive? (should it be formatted and should it be empty for updating?) 2. Should the BIOS be updated when the processor is already installed with a new one or in advance while the old one is in the socket?

There are no special differences in start/setup. If you ever changed the processor, it will be the same. In general, if you google a little, you can even find videos of the entire process.
The flash drive must be in fat16 / fat32, with one partition and live ... =) On the asus website, in general, there is a manual for firmware by various means.
You need to update the bios before replacing the processor.
