Can I update the BIOS using an unsupported CPU?

Maybe a stupid question, but still. I decided to update my computer by switching to a new Ryzen 5 3600. I bought a motherboard , but only now I realized that the BIOS version on it does not support new processors. Actually the question is: can the BIOS somehow start up with a new unsupported processor so that I can update this very BIOS?

If there is no one to shoot the processor for the firmware, then go bow to the service center with denyuzhka.
Sad but true. You are not the first to have this problem.

When I bought a mother under 1151 for the I7-7700K, the kabylake was also not supported by the mother and the system did not start. I updated the bios from under skylake.
If the processor is not supported, the download will not reach the BIOS.
If you have money, you can buy a suitable processor, update the BIOS and return it to the store with a refund.

if it fits into the socket normally, then there is probably a BIOS with a modified set of commands, in order for this processor to work

In theory, it should enter the BIOS, and then upload a new F40 BIOS from a USB flash drive
