Does it make sense to look for clients on the WEB through Yandex Direct? Who has experience with remote clients?

Does it make sense to advertise on Yandex for website development? Were there real clients? Even if someone agrees, how to make agreements with him? Most likely, a person will not want to send a deposit to an unknown person via the Internet, and will look for someone in his city with an office. Or maybe provide a link to your freelancing account so that the transaction can be completed safely.
Who has had experience finding and working with clients remotely through search engine advertising?

Direct - of course there is a sense, you can sell there, but this is a very massive channel with very low efficiency due to the fact that everyone climbs there (the prices there have long been inflated, and the return is one of the lowest).
I remember about 10 years ago I was selling "website development" through search on the Internet -> and this scheme gave the LOWEST return of all the schemes used, even I would say ridiculous, having, for example, in the search top for some popular query like "creating sites in Syktyvkar" own website, sales there will be microscopic anyway.
It is more efficient to catch people before the moment they have a need, so that by the time when he wants to order a site, he already knows who he will order from.

about the makings, well, usually there are no special problems, you can agree if you wish. You can also divide the order into more stages / payments (reducing risks).

for this there is such a thing as a legal entity and an agreement

if you are an agency and the price tag for attraction will cover the costs of advertising, then why not. Do you think the agencies are still working.
