How to organize long-term planning and learn how to prioritize?

Recently, the question of how to properly organize long-term planning, and how to correctly prioritize and find out the most profitable approaches, is increasingly becoming an issue.
The problem is not in time management, perseverance, motivation, but specifically in looking into the future and seeing perspectives.
History:
On the advice of the comments and looking at the volume, I decided to shorten the text and highlight the main theses.
1. Freelancing - gives the bulk of the income, but the problem is in the client base with which I work for a long time, and incorrectly formed relationships. As a result, I get the wrong result and working conditions that are necessary. That is, it is necessary to change the client base.
2. Own project - there are good prospects, and even in the test mode it brings little money, but it takes a lot of work and time.
3. Friend's project - also gives a good contribution to the budget, but the friend does not have a project growth priority, but he is an important part of it.
4. Income from automating certain things on a tip. Periodically gives a good contribution to the budget, but there is no regularity and guarantees.
Problem:
Trying to sit on all the chairs at once. This negatively affects the speed of development and does not bring the desired result. But I can’t decide what to spend my energy on, what to put aside.
Goals:
Learn methods of long-term planning, how to calculate risks, what to refuse and what to accept. Get the experience of others, so as not to fill the same bumps and realize which approach is right and which is not.
The essence of the appeal:
We need recommendations on books, articles, video materials on this issue, as well as personal experience.

How and what kind of thinking needs to be developed (Anatoly Lev...

The advent of artificial intelligence technologies inevitably leads to a restructuring of the technological stack in many, many industries. So managers, engineers, and everyone else need to be prepared for a quick change in the type of activity.
What allows us to quickly rebuild, quickly change? Fundamental education that develops both formal and informal thinking.
It takes a long time to receive such education, it is difficult to receive it in adulthood, but on its basis it is easy to master various practices. The problem is that today's state-of-the-art fundamental education turns out to be different than what is taught in schools and universities. So what kind of thinking should be developed within the framework of this new fundamental education?

Do not forget the main feature of freelancing - you are not tied to one boss. If you don't like the terms of work with the client - offer to review them / drop him.
There is not enough information here for anyone to tell you something. If you have no doubts about your evaluative abilities and rate him as super promising, isolate and focus only on him.
You can't work with friends.
Some kind of hat, focus on one thing, freelance + side project is also fine, why are you trying to earn five kopecks from different sources, including friends and irregular shit, if you can focus on one direction and do 10 times more in it .
