Does Core i7 (Skylake\Kaby Lake) support DDR3 memory?

Good afternoon!
SUBJECT
There is a lot of DDR3 memory from the old config. Motherboards supporting LGA1151 support DDR3 memory (not all models, of course, but there are on the market).
In general, as I understand it, everything should work, but I decided to ask knowledgeable people again.
The only confusing thing is that here
https://ark.intel.com/products/97129/Intel-Core-i7...
only DDR4 and DDR3L are indicated. But on the other hand, DDR3L and DDR3 are backwards compatible...
Thanks in advance!
