Why is there no picture from the DVI motherboard?
There is an asus h61m-k motherboard with a 2500k processor.
On the motherboard there is VGA and DVI
, a monitor hangs on VGA, I hang a TV on DVI through a DVI-> HDMI adapter and then an HDMI cable.
The monitor shows, but there is no TV - it does not see the signal, Windows does not see TV.
I take the same adapter and the same HDMI cable and plug it into the gf210 - there is a signal. (but you can't duplicate the image on different cards)
I take a DVI-HDMI cable and plug it into the motherboard, instead of an adapter and an HDMI cable - there is a signal. all OK. but there is no sound.
Questions
why there is no signal through the adapter on the on-board video card if this bundle works through the gf210?
Why is there no sound on the onboard video card (the same wire in gt210 gives both image and sound!)
Thank you
