Asus "...Pro Gaming Motherboard.." compatible with Intel Core i5-7600?

I want to buy a gaming motherboard for about $100-150 and put an Intel Core i5-7600 there. Liked Asus Gaming Pro. I went to off-site companies.
Motherboards
Everywhere in the description they write that support for i5 processors up to 6 (sixth) generation.
The processor I chose from the 7th generation.
Processor
Tell me please, will the processor be in the motherboard socket for the 6th generation?
It's like Kaby Lake and in the past there was Skylake.

We open the description of the first motherboard that came across, go to the list of supported processors.
https://www.asus.com/ua/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMI...
We see support for the 7th generation, go to the tab with drivers and BIOS files.
We see the description of the latest version "Z170 PRO GAMING/AURA BIOS 3016 Support new CPUs."
Support appeared, but only in the newest BIOS version, which was released at the end of December. Those motherboards that you can now buy in stores, with a very high degree of probability, have not been updated to this latest version.
If you buy a motherboard with an old BIOS and a new one, you won't be able to turn it on.
Physically, processors differ not by generations, but, first of all, by the socket.

You go to nix.ru, look for your processor in the search bar, open its description
www.nix.ru/autocatalog/intel/CPU-Intel-Core-i5-760...
and click the "Compatible motherboards" button. You get the following list:
www.nix.ru/price/searchs_ajax.html?sch_id=159&good...
You can filter ASUS separately.
Here, for example, the ASUS B150 PRO GAMING
motherboard www.nix.ru/autocatalog/motherboards_asustek/ASUS-B...
Here you can see the warnings:
"To support Kaby Lake processors (Core i7 7xxx, Core i5 7xxx, Core i3 7xxx, Pentium G4xxx) compatible BIOS update required."
If not satisfied, choose a fully compatible motherboard.

See a motherboard that supports USB BIOS Flashback technology, with it you can update the BIOS even without an installed CPU and memory.

Become a modet and become. But the bios may not see it. If the manufacturer writes that it is not supported, then it is not supported.
