Do you need a voltage stabilizer for your home PC?

I looked in the direction of uninterruptible power supplies and stumbled upon another device - a voltage stabilizer.
Is it necessary for a home PC? Uninterruptibles do not perform this task?

Uninterruptibles perform this task, the voltage regulator does not perform the task of an uninterruptible power supply. If you plan to use a server at home, there are frequent power outages - it is better to choose an uninterruptible power supply, if at home only laptops and computers that do not work 24/7, you can get by with a stabilizer in order to protect yourself from power surges.

A toaster is increasingly being confused with Google)
So, the essence of the matter, uninterruptible power supplies are different: they are usually divided into 2 categories (here I make an assumption), back-ups (they turn on the battery when the mains voltage has disappeared) and smart-ups (and these also with a stabilizer).
The latter, of course, are more expensive, the last one that I bought for myself cost 15 kilo rubles.
Whether you need it or not is up to you to decide. It all depends on what voltage is in your power supply, whether there are jumps, whether there are blackouts, only you know this.

Line-interactive and double-conversion UPSs do not need stabilizers. Home offline UPS will not stabilize anything. But the use of stabilizers in conjunction with them (which are also different in principle of operation) can lead to unpredictable consequences. You need to look at what.

Not needed, modern PSUs themselves can operate from 180 volts, they are even better at this voltage. And those that have an active PFC generally from 90 to 265 usually.
In addition, cheap relay stubs die quickly with floating voltage. I have experience in servicing installations in rural settlements - in 3-5 years, more than half of the AVRok failed.
Some begin to scribble furiously with a relay, which is why, for example, the firmware of Mikrotiks flies due to strong EM interference.

At one time I took one . In addition to the nasty squeak, I did not experience any problems. Well, the battery eventually dies of course.
