Do I need to change proxies to American for instagram-acc aimed at the US audience?

I'm making an Instagram account for an audience from the USA. Do I need to change the proxy when registering an account to American or does it not matter for promotion? Will the algorithm recommend the account to Russians because the proxies are Russian?
