Directly on Wordpress or design-layout-wp?

Hello! Need advice from experienced people. Website for a charitable foundation, required: 5 pages, mobile version, electronic payment system.
How to do it better:
1. make a design (this is my task) then find someone who will make it up and install it on cms.
2. Do it yourself right away on Wordpress and will it really be easier there (considering what is required for the site). And given the fact that I had not worked there before.
A lot of information has been read, but there is no clear answer yet. Do your own design, and then look further (this is all on me) or will WP solve all the problems?))

If you don’t find a ready-made template on WP that suits you, then draw whatever you want) I note that a charity origination site with 5 sections, most likely, you don’t have any super-duper requirements. So with a template, in 98% of cases you will save yourself a lot of time, money, and get a more predictable result . Especially, against the background of the fact that you have no experience)
Take a closer look in the direction of 1C Bitrix, they have a store of ready-made sites.

The simplest template in Modx. For 5 pages, this is more than enough.

Make a design, then find a layout designer, then find someone who will pull it - the ideal scheme.
1. As a designer, you will not be able to use your full potential, as you will have limited layout skills.
2. The layout designer will be able to focus on the layout of the layout, exactly as you drew it, together with him you will achieve the layout to the ideal.
3. The programmer will tighten the layout and will be able to focus on the functionality and proper operation of the site.
This is how high-quality projects are made, everyone does their own thing.

Everything depends on the task. If you need an original design, then of course you need to first make a design, and then proceed to layout on wp. But if there are no restrictions, then you can take a ready-made template, get up a logo, change the text, color, and here it is a finished site. This will greatly reduce time and money, but you will lose in recognition.
And if you have never encountered a payment system, then in any case you will have to hire a person who can set it up.

Hello!
Of course, it all starts with design. The issue of layout and the creation of a theme is already the task of a front-end developer.
I can say the following - with a good layout, creating a theme is a fairly simple task. Of course, there are some difficulties when there is a layout, but you need to "make friends" with a certain plugin. For example, vukomerts. But everything is solved. Also use custom fields (carbon fields or ACF).
WP is a fairly simple system and to create a simple theme, it is enough to have simple knowledge of PHP and the ability to read documentation (in English or in Russian)))) Do not be afraid of experiments)

I suggest not fooling yourself to buy a WordPress Template. Great templates with good design are now inexpensive up to $60.
