Debian Non-Free with firewood?

If you put Debian NoN-Free, will you still have to put firewood on the network card? I installed Debian 10, I'm used to Linux installing a network card out of the box, and then Debian offers me to dance with a tambourine. And there is neither time nor desire for this.

Yes, if they are not in the core.
Not always.
Then install Windows.
