Computer hangs when booting at low temperature in the room?
The situation is such, no matter how strange it may seem, but the computer hangs before loading the desktop with random colors filling the entire monitor under conditions that the room is below 20 degrees. This does not happen on subsequent reboots. Another point - on loading the logo of the manufacturer of the mat. boards appear three blinking dots, this indicates that the computer will freeze, if there are none, then everything will go smoothly.
All this arose when I plugged in a new geforce 760 and a 500 W power supply.
No freezes occur without firewood on the video card.
Mat. msi board. Bios updated. Windows 7 msdn.

PSU new and good? If not, then that's the reason. Low-quality electrolytic conders can change characteristics depending on temperature.
Anything can be here.
I had a similar experience, I went over the entire system manager - it was a separate story (I came to save, I didn’t have enough shifts to check, and it’s warm in the room - February, endured it with an open case in the cold, then ran into the building, clung to speed until warmed up and so on in turn with different bp, memory, video, etc.) turned out to be the mother. At the same time, she still staggered her memory, I ruined three dies on her. I don’t know what exactly happened to it, it was still under warranty, they sent it to a gigabyte, returned it to a working one, they said that they could also reimburse the cost of the dies, but some unrealistically long and dreary examination was needed there with the retention of the entire set and dies and memory, scored. Amazing story.
Most likely there are conduits somewhere.
There are many options: a defective card, a low-quality block, memory, mat glitches. fees. Only testing by substituting known-good components can reveal the problem.

look in the direction of the temperature of the iron. turn on monitoring and lower the temperature to 15 degrees and see how the iron will work / lead / temperature. It is relevant only in the case of a "cold" (ahaha) turning on the computer.
