CNC smart filter not working in directory root, how to solve?

Hello bitrix men!
The question has been discussed many times already, how to make the smart filter work from the root of the directory?
The catalog works in Ajax mode. All parameters are set correctly!
If the CNC filter is turned off , then the filtering works well and without hesitation, but then the abracadabra in the URL does not look nice.
If I turn on the CNC, it catches 404, only from the root of the directory, in sections it works fine.
On the site 1C Bitrix. I have an idea! this topic was discussed, offered to developers, and they claim that everything was added in version 15.5. But in fact, nothing and a bunch of comments confirm this, even a separate video is posted on YouTube.
Maybe someone has already experienced this? How did they decide?
