Changing the hourly rate or flat rate. How does the customer see it?

I applied for a project, and then decided to change my hourly rate or fixed price in the response, will this somehow be displayed to the client? In the sense that I will fall in his list below or something like that, maybe he will receive a notification?

It's not worth the hassle. Change it and don't sweat it. What difference does it make if you set a more reasonable price?
