Does anyone have a negative experience of working through Upwork with Modulbank?
Hello. I plan to open a current account for an IP to work for Upwork (I registered as an IP at the beginning of the year, before that I had never had such an account). So far, Modulbank seems like a good option, because. they already have experience working with freelancers, but did not find negative reviews about it regarding Upwork specifically, with the exception of tariff discussions.
Is it so rosy there? Can they ask for a huge bundle of incomprehensible documents in a few months and not accept them for a long time in order to extract a 10% commission, as other (non-upworking) IP specialists write on banki.ru? Or, for example, lower the maximum amount of cash withdrawals without notice (well, or with notice ...)?
And another question ... as far as I understand, you need to have a regular account of an individual somewhere in order to transfer money there from a current account in order to withdraw normally for personal purposes? Or can you freely use a Modulbank card to buy bread in a store?

Today they published an article: https://delo.modulbank.ru/upwork_monitoring
Everything is fine.
But prepare for the question more thoroughly.
You will have to pay VAT for upwork.
The module card can be used freely if you have 6% sleep. But of course, having a card from another bank is more pleasant for personal purposes.
UPD. Yesterday there was a post from ModulBank on working with UpWork - https://vk.com/modulbank?w=wall-80328935_19757
With the module for almost a year. I can’t say that there is any negative, but all sorts of limits, as it seemed to me, are being cut down a bit. Another thing is that for my needs they are more than enough.
Regarding the Modular card, in some letter they did not recommend paying with a card in foreign online stores, such as the tax office may have some questions (withdrawing cash abroad without problems). Also, keep in mind that if you transfer money to other banks through the interbank market (which costs 19 rubles for a transfer), some banks may charge a fee for transfers from legal entities (well, individual entrepreneurs) to an individual’s card over a certain amount (there is definitely such a thing in PSB) .
I read the article from the comments below from the module and remembered the negative. The dollars from the upvote will go to your account through the third correspondent bank, which also takes its commission in the region of $15 for the transfer. Therefore, the total cost of the transfer in dollars is about $45.
Already two years with the module. Happy as an elephant. I sat on the free plan for a long time, but then I realized that I lose more on the withdrawal commission, so I switched to a paid plan. Currency control in a couple of hours on a business day. Extremely convenient and adequate technical support. The specialist always answers. And they also know how to work with upwork and tell you what documents are needed in case of emergency.
I chose the module.
The point as a competitor, very expensive, and after a call from their (point) salesman, who tried to mislead me, like a fool, I decided.
Point tried to convince me to go to them, tk.
1-module is private, and they are state. a bank (due to the fact that they were sanitized, before that it was also private) Minus rather
2-insurance of deposits (everyone is insured)
3-some other nonsense.
Module and only Module now!
