Why is the bank interested in my personal data? Is it legal?
Hello, after opening an IP, we decided to receive money to our account with adsense. The money was received, but for some reason the currency control froze the money. Now they are asking questions about the Internet resource:
Please provide the following information:
- When was the AdSense account registered?
- What website/channel YOUTUBE is linked to this service?
- Who is the resource for? Is there a contractual relationship if the site is owned by a third party?
Why is the bank interested in this data? Is it legal? If I don't want to talk about my projects?

Quite a decent bank. It's amazing how good the questions are.
These are not personal questions.
And the bank has the legal right to refuse you service.
However, it does not mean at all:
That you will answer all the questions - and they will not refuse.
Or that you don’t answer some - they won’t refuse.
Free - will. If you don't want to, don't answer.
But the bank doesn't owe you anything either.
I don't see anything particularly personal here. this is probably some way of identifying the owner.
If not a secret, which bank? In general, he has the right to decide for himself what to ask him, because if he "smells like fried", he will have to take the rap in front of the regulator. I agree, this is not personal information.
Conclusion: cooperate with banks that are not so fastidious :) But do not be afraid of such questions, in a sense it is for your benefit too.
