Chances to save the laptop, or at least try?

The laptop was flooded with water, a year without ON, there is corrosion inside, but a little, they cleaned it, but it doesn’t react, does it make sense to try to reanimate it?

No, it doesn't make sense.

It makes no sense to restore iron (electronics), since it will not work properly. But the data on the drive - depends on the desire and finances.

According to my experience in repairing drowned people - if more than a week has passed and there was WITHOUT a battery (they removed it right away as it was flooded) - it’s already difficult, but it can, it depends on many factors: anywhere, what kind of liquid (tea, with or without sugar, beer / wine , hot chocolate, milk ....) and whether there was dust inside and what kind. Well, from the temperature in the room where he lay this time. A year - it's better not to torment, test for spare parts, what is alive - to sell, faulty - to sell as faulty (yes, they buy it for spare parts).
But if the battery is not disconnected, after a couple of days it is extremely difficult to restore, after a week it is almost unrealistic and it depends where the liquid got into. And in a year ... There will be just a pile of rust. It remains to remove and use what is still alive, throw the rest away (this is already almost impossible to sell).
