Which laptop to choose for design, if only hardware is important?
The laptop is planned to be used mainly as a compact portable tower. That is, the keyboard, speakers, battery - it's all unimportant. I would like to get powerful hardware for minimal money: so that the memory is no less than 16GB and the stone is no worse than the desktop i5. Well, the display is good, of course, this is almost the most important thing - for the design after all. And a good display in laptops is almost the most difficult thing in choosing a laptop. Hard / ssd and a video card are not so critical anymore (you can do it with an integration). I don’t consider nettops, because sometimes a laptop will still be needed just like a laptop, but rarely.

If you need a budget laptop, then I advise Dell Inspiron 7577 (i7 7700HQ, 16Gb RAM, expandable up to 32, GeForce 1050, there is an SSD, the price is less than a thousand euros).
