What is your opinion when choosing an ultrabook?

I decided to turn to the ultrabook faith, in connection with which the question arose: which ultrabook to choose?
There are three options that I like:
Asus UX31A (90NIOA312W12325813AC, 13.3" (1920x1080), 4096, 128GB SSD, Intel Core i5-3317U(1.7), Intel HD Graphics, LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, Win8, webcam)
Asus UX32VD (90N-SPOC322W1161580Y, 13.3" (1366x768), 4096, 128GB SSD, Intel Core i5-3317U(1.7), 1024MB NVIDIA Geforce GT620M, LAN, WiFi, Win8, webcam)
Asus UX42VD (990NUGC412W11745813AY, Intel Core i5 . GHz), 4096MB, 500GB+24GB SSD, 14" (1600*900), No DVD, NVidia GT645 1024MB, Windows 8, 1.88 kg)
Lenovo Yoga 13 (59-359985, Intel Core i3 3217U (1.8GHz), 4096MB, 128GB SSD, 13.3" (1600*900), Shared VGA, Windows 8, Orange)
Asus, of course, did a great job of opening the MBA for ordinary consumers with an aluminum case, but it's a little annoying that the display backlight is uneven and generally complains about the build quality, which I generally consider unacceptable for computers of this level. In the 42VD 24 GB model, the SSD is soldered on the board and how it will work if you replace the HDD with an SSD is not entirely clear. Lenovo has a potentially "weak" processor, but it is possible to install an additional mSATA SSD. In general, as always, there are strengths and weaknesses and there is no clear favorite ...
I think that here, in the order of people who used the presented ultrabook models, respectively, I would like to know personal feelings, the pros and cons of the presented models, some additional details so that you can was the final choice.

My opinion is this. Manufacturers could solder at least 8 gigs of RAM (and preferably 16). 4 is no longer funny. Moreover, you usually add memory to an ultrabook.

There are a lot of complaints about Asus ultrabooks. I wouldn't risk it.
I myself chose Macbook Air 13 about a year ago. Now, if I had a choice, I would most likely take it again.
Ubuntu 13.04 gets up without problems on it, everything works and is very fast, although energy saving needs to be adjusted.
FHD-type resolution on such a small matrix creates only an overhead, there is little real use, and under Windows it’s generally hell with small print. So 1400x900 is quite optimal. The only drawback of Eer is TN + film, not IPS. But nevertheless, it is calibrated and quite tolerable.

We recently bought a Lenovo Yoga 13 for a friend, though it is more powerful (http://market.yandex.ru/model.xml?modelid=9356625&hid=91013).
Programs open instantly. With Photoshop open, two editors and several browsers, it doesn't slow down. Touch screen, the ability to use it as a tablet. IPS matrix. Everything cool. Friend is happy.
True, win8, as for me, is a little buggy with Touch screen. When scrolling pages, there are glitches. Only IE10 fully works.

Asus will be stronger. 13 inches is not enough. Better than 15.
Personally, I dream of installing ubuntu on a macbook air.

I would take Lenovo Yoga 13 if only because of the keyboard.
But in a configuration with Core i5 sooner.

IMHO it makes sense to start with what criteria are important to you:
price, weight, screen size, strength, performance, battery life?
What applications are planned to be launched?
I was advised Lenovo x230, but then there was no Yoga yet: habrahabr.ru/qa/42248/

So, the stars in the sky converged in such a way that I bought Yoga in the i5, 4Gb, 256 Gb SSD configuration in an orange case - in fact, as recommended. If there are questions - ask.
I think in a couple of weeks I will write a small note about win8, touch-display and in general the feeling of using it;)

I myself am waiting for the release of Acer Aspire S3-392 and Acer Aspire S7-392 on the 4th generation of the Intel processor.
Therefore, I would advise you to wait a couple of weeks.

I am for Yoga 13 with i5. At the very same :)
There is one bar on 4G or on 8G (two bars of 4G each). More than 8G can not be delivered, does not support.
There is a second SATA for the second screw, because the first one is almost completely crammed with Windows, plus it is cut into sections crookedly (although no one bothers to remake them).
Orange versions are cool in appearance, and differ in TOP stuffing (8G, 256G screw).
Excellent keyboard, comfortable good screen, quite a long time of work ...

over the past 4 years, my previous office sent more than 3 dozen asus to SC with one major problem - a flimsy, crumbling and crumbling case for a year and a half after purchase. after which the IT department decided not to purchase laptops from this vendor.
