Which laptop to get for web development and programming?
I'm going to take a laptop for programming and web development. The ability to play games is not essential. I choose between:
Macbook Pro 13 2017 in the minimum configuration (I look more in his direction, but will 8 GB of RAM and i5 be enough for me?)
ASUS ROG Strix GL553VE-FY052T (16 gb RAM, GTX 1050 TI with 4 gb of video memory, i7-7700HQ , SSD 256 gb, HDD 1 tb, Full HD IPS screen - a more powerful option, more ports, but mobility is lame, autonomy plus a worse screen)

If funds allow, it's better to take a poppy, because in the future you won't have to rack your brains on how to test this or that feature in safari.
You can always put Windows in a virtual machine for tests, but I personally could never get the apple system to work in a virtual machine.
Of course, there are special services in the style of https://www.browserstack.com/ , but they are not so convenient.
I don't see any other reason than safari.
If you need a budget laptop, then I advise Dell Inspiron 7577 (i7 7700HQ, 16Gb RAM, expandable up to 32, GeForce 1050, there is an SSD, the price is less than a thousand euros).
, but will 8 GB of RAM and i5 be enough for meYou - I have no idea. But I would definitely not have enough 8GB of memory.
Macbook for development is ideal.
8 GB of RAM and i5 is enough in principle, but it’s better to save up or take a gray or used (here carefully) better version.
If you take on Windows, then certainly not the mentioned asus, at least because of the appearance. For this price, you can take quite a nice, thin and powerful ultrabook, but again, there will be a difference in price, but not much.
