USB flash drives
Vyacheslav Grachunov, 2020-03-22 22:43:06

Can this flash drive be recovered?

Kingston Data Traveler 64 GB

When connected, a working device appears in the device manager for a couple of seconds, then falls off with an error

Unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed)

Windows stopped this device because it reported problems. (Code 43)
Request for USB device descriptor failed.

There was no important information on it. Is it possible to restore it or in the trash can?

VID / PID managed to see in those couple of seconds: 0951/1666

Disassemble, close the data line, connect to a computer, the flash drive will enter boot mode, then look for software for flashing on usbdev.
But it's easier not to mess around and buy a new one, they are now inexpensive
