At first you gore it in 3D, you will need to provide not so much physics, although the engine will provide it only partially, you will have to tinker. But the main problem will be to implement the interface for interacting with the details.
And then your users will butt heads to play it, and a lot of your time will be wasted.
But, do not forget that if there were no people who take on strange things, there would be no masterpieces of indie development. If you have a few years of free time, why not.
