Can I create a web application using the method of D. Petrov (Polyglot) for learning English?

The appearance of my application will be invented by me. Some features will also be added, but the lessons will be based on his methodology. To avoid trouble in the future, do I need to refer to his method, that my application is completely based on the method of D. Petrov?

Yes, methods cannot be patented in any way. Find in the law (open Consultant + and type in copyright, patent, etc. on the issue) so that everything is accurate. But as far as I remember, such things are not subject to patenting and other things, like ideas, for example.
