Building a drone - where to start?
Hello, great minds)
In view of the current situation, I decided to devote a little time to the subject of home automation .. and garden.
Actually, the case itself - I have a rather large plot of land that I process with my hands from ticks. Having relatively straight arms, I had a crazy idea to automate this process using a Homemade Drone
. Hence the questions for people who have already gone from beginner to experienced
1. Chassis - as I understand it, it must withstand the planned load - (Up to 10 kg)
2. Calculation of motors - blades. What to look out for
3. Battery - how to correctly calculate the ratio of weight - operating time? The drone is not planned to fly high vertically or at high speeds. Here priority is needed just for the duration of work, because it will soar at a height of about 1-1.5 meters
4. Flight controller - in terms of work automation. I would like to be able to set work on the computer in the form of a map or motion vectors out of the box and so that the drone can autonomously
execute
it didn’t figure out why, but maybe telemetry)
7. Recognition of obstacles / threats for flying in different planes - vertical and horizontal crowns and tree trunks)
Maybe I want a lot, but from the pieces and my knowledge - this is a fairly simple task. I don't want to reassemble the bike

For a person asking such questions, it is better to use a ready-made solution like Agras or similar. This will save you some money and a huge amount of time.
Watch the finished product and buy, as an option to rewrite the characteristics of the finished product on a piece of paper and order in parts from the Chinese, comprehending science. But this is if you want adventure and surprises.
I highly recommend starting with a simple DIY copter from ready-made parts according to tutorials from YouTube.
When the irrigation system works in miniature, it will not be difficult to assemble an expensive and large one, otherwise you can fly into a round sum by simply choosing the wrong motors.
