What is the difference between LED lamps with and without transformer?

Good afternoon, I decided to change the lamps at home, and I saw that the LED lamp can be 12v and 220v. Please tell us what is the difference between using LED lamps with and without a transformer?

What is the difference between using LED lamps with and without a transformer?
1. What you call a "transformer" is properly called a "voltage converter" because it may well be transformerless.
2. For 12-volt lamps, this converter must be external - this is approximately the same as used to power LED strips.
3. For 220V, the converter is built into the lamp itself.
4. Most cheap lamps have a transformerless converter, it does not have the function of voltage stabilization (or current through diodes), and therefore they blink at a frequency of 50 ... 100 hertz and have unstable brightness (brightness is determined by not too stable voltage in the mains). For more expensive ones, it has a transformer and voltage / current stabilization, so their brightness is constant, and there is no blinking.
