Brakes on mac mini 2012, what to do?

I have a mac mini 2012 on i5, the system is on ssd, I work with mamp and phpstorm - the rewind in the browser constantly tweaks (it twitches a little) also when rewinding (there is no smoothness - everything works smoother on a beech with Windows) The phpstorm environment itself also slows down - often waiting half a second to move the cursor - minor freezes! What could be the problem? percent and RAM not loaded - swap 0
percent - i5
RAM 8 GB
hard drive - ocz ag4

It seems to be a matter of RAM ... Apparently, 8 GB is not enough for my purposes ((( - I noticed the same symptoms on my laptop on Windows, there are 6 gigs and when the RAM is full, phpstorm lags

What about loading the SSD?
How does the minik behave if you put a large file on download and work at the same time?

look at the smart disk
look at the temperatures of everything in the macmini
