Regarding the "polyglot": I didn't watch it to the end (in my case I didn't learn anything new), but I liked the approach. This teacher highlights the most important and presents in the right form. But again, this is all relative, and besides, it is not exhaustive.
I think you should not explain that it is impossible to learn something from scratch in 10, 20, 30 hours.
Before presenting my opinion on the question, I will describe my path of learning the language. He is popular in many ways: they gave something at school, something at the university, he looked at something by chance. But there was little sense from this, there was no systematization. Then I went to a private teacher (more precisely, he came to us - he visited the office, where a group of 4 colleagues studied with him before work). Engaged in the textbooks of Oxford University, Intermediate level; grammar was reinforced by speech lessons. Plus, at that time I already had to somehow apply the skills of correspondence in the work itself, participate in calls (in the beginning, just listen more).
In the electronic version of the book, which I attached, there is a grammar and some games (I really smoked it in the paper version). And now, when I already communicate freely and use the language every day, I can say with confidence that in this book everything is given exactly as it should be (first of all, it concerns the sequence of grammar lessons).
I would suggest just go over the grammar. This is the base. But doing it productively alone is quite difficult. Real practice decides. This, in turn, is an axiom. If you are going to communicate with people, then you need to start communicating with them, so my recommendation: study with a teacher for the first time using this book. Speak these unfortunate cases in basic tenses. As a result, there will be 5 pieces in use later. Some additional constructions (conditional sentences and something else) will be added to the tenses.
p/s The most interesting language learning will begin only later - when you expand your vocabulary. For this, nothing is better than reading books, it seems they have not come up with anything. Well, then watch series / films: this is necessary both for pronunciation and for training the general concepts of constructing speech (so to speak, speech with arrangement, expression).

Я советую Дуолингво и пароллельно Полиглот в VK. Italki - социальная сеть, советую, Quora тоже хоошая штука, в духе ответов на mail.ru, но шлака и тролинга там нет, хорощий, серьёзный сайт.
Необходимо выучить хотя бы 100 неправильных глаголов и 100 часто встречающих прилогательных. Дальше всё само попрёт. Полиглот в VK кстати отличное приложение, но я заметил там несколько неправильных вариантов, но в целом это не значительно.

Изучение английского для общение и изучение грамматики по учебникам - совершенно разные вещи.
ВСЕ люди свой родной язык изучают без всякой грамматики (сперва язык, затем грамматику), потому что воспринимать речь на слух в быстром темпе и грамматика - не особо связано друг с другом.
Вывод - любой сервис, типа linguleo для увеличения словарного запаса, и любые возможности общения, желательно с носителями языка.

Добрый день!
По-моему есть огромное количество приложений, онлайн-книг с грамматикой и упражнениями, видео на ютубе, чтобы изучить английский даже с нуля. Найдите тот способ, который вам будет более удобен. Можете на выходных смотреть фильмы на английском с субтитрами. Можете начать с мультиков. Там лексика простая. Главное, чтобы мультик был вам знаком.
Слушайте музыку на иностранном языке. Начните делать заметки на английском языке тоже. Необходимо окружить себя со всех сторон этим языком. Любое незнакомое слово выписывайте. Чередуйте свои занятия, тогда обучение пройдет проще и веселее.
