Are layers lost when importing an .ai file into after effects?

I try on a simple file with a couple of layers: I

import into AE as "Composition - keep the dimensions of the layers"
As a result, in AE there is a black picture, without layers, I don't see them anywhere.

What am I doing wrong?

Itself recently was stupid at import. In short, each layer/element must be in its own group. Then everything will be ok. And on the first screen you have all 3 layers / elements in one group.
Yes, this is so stupid. But this is the preparation of the layout for import.
