Are browser games still relevant?

Good afternoon.
For a long time, for the sake of interest, I wrote a browser game a la BC and the like. A little man runs in the browser, beats bots and his own kind, professionals, quests, clans, wars and so on. Is it relevant at the present time to launch such a thing? Do you have such examples of working (and preferably recently launched) browser-based online games? Thank you.

The main advantage of browser games is that they do not need to be downloaded) But there are very few good browser games. If the game is interesting, then of course it's worth it. Users are lazy, that is, it is easier for them to play the game in the browser than to download (especially discourages if the game is larger than 5-10gb). Therefore, there will be more unique players in the browser version of the game.

It feels like browser games are dying. If you do not have a mobile application in addition to the browser, then you will get a sad story) But if the game is already ready, why don't you upload it? Maybe it will hook someone

Think seriously about the mobile client bill, because. most of the audience is office workers sitting in the game from smartphones, moms, etc.
