Where do you meet with clients? Pitfalls if there is no office?
Hello! Guys, I have a dilemma.
There is an agency with remote workers, I position myself as a manager (search for clients, negotiating, etc.)
When there were no employees at all, I perfectly "managed clients" by scheduling meetings in a cafe, or not scheduling them at all) But now the range of services has increased , prices for services have increased and somehow it’s not comme il faut to meet in a cafe and, of course, I would like to indicate the address on the site for solidity or something. But the toad is choking
me to give the same 40,000 for a mini-office, which will not only have a terrible interior, but also it is not clear how often it will be needed. Options considered:
1) Coworking. There are many pluses, this is the atmosphere, thematic people, the interior. But after calling several normal co-working spaces in Moscow, I came across the fact that in order to get into the negotiation room, you need to sign up almost 2 days in advance ... especially in summer, there is a rush. And if the client wants "here and now"?
2) Hourly office rental. The same problem (a standard office can be busy just when "the client wanted to come") Having moved the meeting to another place, clients may be interested in "What, do you have any problems?"))
3) Hotel lobby))) ) No experience, I don’t know)
4) In the office to the client. Sometimes it is unacceptable (it simply does not exist)
Tell us how you get out. I suspect that there are "no options" and I still have to rent an office.
PS. I read this from some “cool guys”: - “No, we don’t have a stationary office. We built Rework processes a long time ago. After that, we began to do more, do our work better and get even more money.”) Maybe write like that too? ))))) Although it seems ridiculous.

As far as I know, many business centers allow you to rent an office by the hour and day. For example, people who conduct trainings rent an office 1-2 times a week for a few hours. They have a fixed time, and it costs much less.
I started working on a similar scheme and the issue is also quite acute. The first customer, fortunately, was from another city, but what to do next? Can we rent an office for two or three such companies together? Anyone willing to join?
Rent a clubbing office that consists of several rooms.
Some apartment near the center, converted into an office. Well, or a real office, partitioned off (but there is eternal trouble with sound insulation).
Bring home to you. Lebedev started like this 20 years ago and nothing is ok.
rent an office for a week
and a week conduct active negotiations
then devote time to working with recruited customers
a week a month - enough for an active load and on a budget
I rent a meeting room in a coworking space, it’s very convenient, recently we held negotiations at the Business Club Vremya on Dmitrovskoye Shosse, they even service all negotiations: tea, coffee, water, the clients were satisfied, and I concluded an excellent lucrative contract.
For now, we manage without renting an office, but we already need a warehouse, the turnover has increased, there is not enough space for goods in the store.
I also think that meetings are best held in a neutral setting. Then the person feels much more comfortable))
I'm all for having my own office. It is very inconvenient to cooperate with serious clients if you invite them to different places each time, at first we rented an office for 1-2 hours. But people began to wonder why we are without our office. It became embarrassing. In St. Petersburg, they found an office for themselves ohta-sklad.ru/object/production , by the way, at a bargain price, rented by the owner. There is high-speed internet, parking. security. All in all, we are very happy that we decided to have our own space.
