Licenses for software and other works
boramod, 2012-09-21 12:33:57

Are any of the types of Creative Commons licenses recognized in Ukraine?

Tell me please.
There is a fairly old resource - a city forum, with good attendance.
Most of the media, including printed, officially registered, began to constantly use forum materials without references or other attributes.

How can the forum materials be legally protected in Ukraine? We are not against the use of our information, but we are against the lack of mention of the original source.

As an option, it occurred to me to sign materials with one of the Creative Commons types.

Is there another way, or is this the right way to legally protect content?

Thank you!

Creative Commons is not recognized at all in Ukraine . The easiest way is to try to communicate with copy-pasteers and solve everything peacefully, but if it doesn’t work out, then you can sue (or at least threaten to do so). But, knowing the level of technical literacy of our judges, it will be very difficult to prove your rights to the content.
You can read, for example, here , there are enough articles, but with articles about a court decision in favor of the copyright holder, it’s quite a disaster, I haven’t seen a single one, although I was interested.
So it is quite difficult to protect your copyrights on the Internet in Ukraine.
“If your materials are copied, then this is a sign of quality. So your work brings benefits to people. Something like this.
