Brand name in app description on Google Play?
I have one useful app for android. I would like to just lay it out so that anyone can use it. But it contains a picture (however, the color on the b/w is removed) of the logo of a well-known company. And also in the description it turns out it will be necessary to mention for which equipment and which company the application is intended. How to be? After all, you cannot indicate trademarks in the description of the word, as well as use their logo. I tried to figure out the licenses, but all this is somehow unclear, after reading the mess in my head. Thank you.

Difficult situation. In my opinion, the only legal way (correct me if I'm wrong) is to get official permission from the brand to use the name and graphics.
Otherwise, I'm sure Google will reject the publication of the application.
As far as I remember, if you indicate that this is a trademark (TM) and whose name it is, you can use brand names. It is more difficult with a picture, if there is a complaint, they will be banned.
The program is free, it must be understood by the labels of the question.

Don't mess with Google Play. In F-Droid'e published? Well, that's enough. If not yet, then at any outcome with Google it is worth publishing, because those who value freedom may never find your program if it gets lost in a heap of proprietary.
And if someone so wants to publish it on Googleplay, then let him deal with their censorship.
