An operating system with GPL components but no open source code?
Hello! I want to create (try) an operating system. Of course, LInux immediately comes to mind, but it is licensed under the GPL (General Public License).
An idea comes to mind: You can write the installer yourself, and at the beginning of the installation put an item like "I agree to install this software" (if the user refuses, the installation is not performed). Tipo LInux and other components are installed at the request of the user. Will it work? Or look for other options?
