Zabbix agent is not monitored after changing IP, are there any options other than reserving IP and reconnecting hosts via DNS?

There are:
1 server and 1000 hosts with active agents
Task: when changing ip, the host must continue to be monitored (reserving ip and switching the agent to DNS is not considered) When auto- registration
is configured , the host becomes inactive and the status is no route to host (which is logical) Configure I have n't tried detection. In office The documentation says: " Starting with Zabbix 2.4.0, hosts that are created by a network discovery rule are automatically deleted if the discovered object is no longer within the IP address range of this rule. Hosts are deleted immediately ." As I understand it, the created node will be deleted after changing the ip.

There is an option to update the node interfaces via the API (habrprivet), but still I wanted to make sure that the community option is stronger.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? If yes, how did you decide?

Active agents themselves apply to the server for tasks and send the result to the server themselves. Accordingly, the fact that the server cannot access them does not matter.
You do not need discovery, it is used by the server to search for nodes on the network, and your active clients themselves send requests, by which the server adds them to the list.
The IP address of the active agent and the change of this address do not matter, what is important is the hostname that the agent introduced himself to and the password to the server.
