YouTube compresses video to disgusting quality, how to avoid this?
Hello, having no experience in video editing, I decided to start recording, on the recommendations of many users I used a bandicam and faced such an unpleasant surprise. Any video that I record in the N-th bitrate, even if I make it under 50000 or 100000, YouTube compresses it to the state that the quality is 1500-2000 kbs, and as a result, the video that looks great after recording on YouTube looks so ashamed of it to anyone show. Codecs were tried: H264 CPU, H264 AMD APP (I have an R9 390X video card, I can afford encoding from it), Xvid, MPEG4. I'm not good with video editing and I suspect that I need to do something else after recording so that the video does not look so terrible. Perhaps it needs to be rendered in a video editor like Vegas? If it is possible,

try uploading to vimeo.com
for 720p - 2.5-3Mbps is normal. 50Mbps is too much, even 5Mbps is too much
for 1080p 5M ok
For a video in which there is a sharp change in the picture, so as not to square, you can increase the bitrate by 2-3 times. If a sharp change does not occur often, then the codec will raise the bitrate itself.
Do it right away in the bitrate that Google does to you - this way you will avoid its incorrect encoding . It is
difficult to give a manual. All you can influence is encoder parameters
Read https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/H.264
And for starters, just go to this link - https://www.youtube.com/upload_defaults and in the section "Suggest video improvements" set "do not show hints"
I don't understand how people can watch this floating like in a crooked mirror image, after such an automatic "improvement" by Google)
